Anna Cronin

Personal profile:
Anna graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2012 following five months rotating through the various clinical disciplines of the University of Vienna. Directly after her graduation she worked for a year at a busy small animal practice in Bavaria, followed by 16 months as a Junior Staff Clinician at the University Hospital for Companion Animals in Copenhagen. Anna moved to Cambridge in July 2015, to undertake a one-year rotating internship at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital and in November 2015 she obtained a General Practitioners Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Anna was subsequently appointed as a Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Small Animal Surgery in July 2016.

Clinical and research interests
Although Anna is interested in all aspects of small animal surgery, she has a special interest in reconstructive and minimally invasive surgery, and novel techniques such as interventional radiology. Currently Anna is working on a research project on ultrasonography as a tool to assess the larynx in brachycephalic breed dogs.
